It is the closest you can be to the city of Stoke-on-Trent (20 minutes by bus) whilst being able to enjoy the benefits of living in the tranquil English countryside. If you travel in the opposite direction to Stoke you will find yourself in a quaint market town called Leek (20 minutes by bus). In and around Bagnall itself, there are plenty of great walks with a number of places to stop for a bite to eat once you’ve finished your walk.

If you’re happy to travel further afield then the spa town of Buxton has some stunning architecture and Ashbourne is a beautiful little town (both are a 30 minute drive). It is also worth noting that Manchester and Birmingham are only about an hour away by car or train. Some of our residents use Bagnall Heights as a Pied-á-Terre in the UK and enjoy half of the year in the likes of Spain or France. There are three airports to choose from all are about an hour away should that be of interest to you (Manchester, Birmingham and East Midlands).
